Southington Parents Of Future Kindergartners Invited To Forum

SOUTHINGTON, CT — With new state mandates regarding the age at which children can enter kindergarten, a parent information forum for new kindergarten parents next week in Southington is particularly appropriate.

Southington Public Schools will host a kindergarten registration information session on Monday, March 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for all parents/guardians who have children entering kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.

The event is at DePaolo Middle School, 385 Pleasant St., Southington.

This session will provide parents/guardians with some general information about the registration process and the day in the life of a kindergartener.

The opportunity to discuss details that are specific to each school will be provided at a later time.

Following a brief presentation by the school administration and teaching staff, parents/guardians
will have the opportunity to ask questions.
