Southington PD Seeks Identity Of Walmart Scooter Thief

The department Sunday night posted images of the suspect believed responsible for the theft last week of the scooter.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police are investigating the brazen theft of an electric scooter at the local Walmart store last week.

The Southington Police Department late Sunday night released surveillance images of the man they believe is responsible.

Police said the scooter was stolen outside of the Southington Walmart while the owner of the scooter was inside.

The suspect has distinct tattoos on his arms and neck that are visible in the released images.

This incident occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at approximately 3:45 pm.
