Southington Police To Be Seen Running For Special Olympics
Officers are expected to be seen running with the torch throughout Southington on Thursday, May 30.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The local library is notifying residents that they might see Southington police running around town with a torch to bear on Thursday, May 30.
Wednesday, the Southington Public Library said members of the Southington Police Department will be participating in the seventh leg of the 2024 Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on that day.

The library also listed the roadways and the schedule of Southington's torch run.
The running starts at 11:32 a.m. on Route 10 and continues throughout town until the afternoon.
