Southington Police Bust Party, Issue 29 Citations for Underage Drinking

Southington Police issued 29 citations for underage drinking and a misdeamnor summons to the homeowner after busting an alleged underage drinking party.
Police responded to a loud party complaint on East Street on April 9 around 10 p.m.
Oficers found parked vehicles obstructing traffic, according to police.

Officers entered the residence and found evidence of drinking games being played along with open and unopened beer cans and liquor bottles.
Homeowner Steven Soto, 46, claimed he didn’t know that alcohol was being consumed, police said. He was issued a misdemeanor summons for permitting minors to possess liquor at a private party.

The following twelve (12) 18 y.o.’s were issued infractions for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor:
Alex Jamele, Allison Gibney, Jarod Gavronski, Catherine Natelli, Jack Meyers, Kateri Downs, Daniel Normandin, Kendra Friedt, Kaitlin Martocchio, Matthew Thompson, Zachary Bylykbashi and Andrew Barmore.
Fourteen (14) 17 y.o.’s and three (3) 16 y.o.’s were issued infractions for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor.
