Southington Police Change Policy On Reports
Southington police have changed their report policy.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Until further notice the Southington Police Department is requesting that citizens who would like to obtain a police report e-mail their requests.
The address is Recordsrequests@southingtonpolice.org.
The records division will then acknowledge receipt of the request, then review the request, notify the requestor by email of the cost for the records and arrange payment for the records.

The records will be e-mailed to the requestor.
The policy is in effect to reduce the possibility of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.

Police are also limiting the dates and time for which fingerprints will be done for applicants:
- Board of Education and childcare applicants can be printed on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1 and 3 p.m.
- Pistol Permit applicants can be printed on Sundays between 9:00 and 11 a.m.
