Southington Police Charge Suspected Heroin Dealer
He was nabbed by East Hartford police after a traffic stop.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - Southington police arrested a Hartford man on drug charges over the weekend.
Similion Walcott, 24, of Hartford, was taken into custody on April 8, after a transfer from the East Hartford Police Department after a motor vehicle stop, according to a new release.
He was charged with two counts of the sale of heroin, police said.

Walcott was held on a pair of $50,000 surety bonds and was to appear in Bristol Superior Court on April 11, police said.
In July, the police special investigations unit received information about Walcott selling Heroin in town, according to a new release. Based on that information, two "controlled purchases" of Heroin were made from Walcott, according to a news release.

Two arrest warrants were then issued by Bristol Superior Court for Walcott for selling drugs, police said. The warrants were sealed at the time of the arrest, police said.
