Southington Police Have Child Safety Seats To Give Out
Thanks to some grant funding, local police are asking folks who need one to email the department and make a formal request.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Hoping to keep children safe while they travel in motor vehicles, the Southington Police Department Tuesday morning announced it has safety seats for youngsters to give out to the public.
Thanks to some special grant funding, Southington police have several seats designed to keep children safe and secure should an accident arise.
"If you or someone you may know is in need of a child passenger seat, please contact our community relations division for consideration," reads a Southington PD post on its Facebook page.
