SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington police are investigating an untimely death at a local home.

At 11:49 p.m. Monday, Southington Police responded to 32 Douglas St. after receiving a 911 call about a medical situation, according to an incident report. The call was received from a resident of the dwelling, police said.

Arriving officers found another resident dead inside the home, according to a report.

The circumstances surrounding the 54-year-old's death are being investigated by the Southington Police Department Detective Division. Identification of the person is being
withheld, pending notice to the family, police said.

Police said it is believed the incident is isolated and there is no danger to the public.
