SOUTHINGTON, CT — Here are the arrest logs for Dec. 17 -Dec. 23, 2024, as provided by the Southington Police Department.

All charges are allegations, not convictions.

Dec. 18

Gabriel Zapata, 25, of Sheridan Avenue, Bronx, N.Y., was charged with fifth-degree larceny at 7:20 p.m. He will appear in court Dec. 31.

Steven P. Samuels, 34, of Columbus Boulevard, New Britain, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle; improper use of marker/registration plates; illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension; engaging police in pursuit; and failure to insure a private motor vehicle at 8 p.m. He will appear in court Dec. 31.

Corey Lamont Rogers, 19, of Bradley Avenue, Meriden, was charged with possession of a controlled substance; criminal mischief; criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny; third-degree robbery; second-degree breach of peace; and third-degree assault at 9:02 p.m. He was to appear in court Dec. 19.

Lance Raymond Batiste, 46, of Mark Lane, Waterbury, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and fourth-degree sexual assault at 4:15 p.m. He will appear in court Dec. 31.

Dec. 19

Juan Huamani, 30, of Lake Street, Norwich, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; failure to drive in the proper lane; failure to obey a stop sign; and operating a motor vehicle without a license at 1:55 a.m. He will appear in court Jan. 2, 2025.

Franklin Wayne Henninges, 49, of Willard Street, Hamden, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension at 12:41 p.m.; second-degree failure to appear in court at 1:10 p.m.; and violation of a protective order at 2:30 p.m. He will appear in court Jan. 2, 2025 for the first charge; Dec. 30 on the second charge; and was to appear in court Dec. 20 on the third charge.

David Arden Coggins, 31, of Beth Lane, Waterbury, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court at 10 p.m. He was to appear in court Dec. 19.

Dec. 20

Scott Allen Hebert, 52, of Maple Street, New Britain, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court at 9:25 p.m. He will appear in court Jan. 3, 2025.

Dec. 21

Matthew A. Whalen, 36, of Foxtail Road, Middletown, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and unsafe movement of a previously stopped vehicle at 1:40 a.m. He will appear in court Jan. 3, 2025.

Dec. 23

Evan Mitchell Munger, 20, of Jacobs Lane, Newington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace at 11 p.m. He will appear in court Jan. 6, 2025.

Felicia Jenkins, 48, of East 108th Street, Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny; interfering with a police officer/resisting arrest; and second-degree breach of the peace at 2:40 p.m. She will appear in court Jan. 6, 2025.
