SOUTHINGTON, CT — Here are the arrest logs for Jan. 4-Jan. 10, 2024, as provided by the Southington Police Department.

Jan. 4

Mykhaylo Mendyuk, 38, of Barnum Avenue, Bridgeport, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle; theft of plates; and failure to insure a private motor vehicle at 3:25 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 18.

Marc A. Karczewski, 61, of Ashford Road, Plainville, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order at 9 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 5.

Jan. 5

Mark J. Pawlicki, 41, of Collins Road, Bristol, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia and interfering with a police officer/resisting arrest at 8:24 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 19.

Patrick W. O'Neal, 61, of Rhoda Lane, Bristol, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle; falsifying a marker plate/license/registration; theft of plates; illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension; use of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance; and failure to insure a private motor vehicle at 8:24 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 19.

Jan. 6

Martin Serrano, 58, of Harding Avenue, Newington, was charged with evading responsibility of injury/property damage; failure to drive in the proper lane; and failure to insure private motor vehicle at 12:59 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 18.

Melissa Marie Franceskino, 26, of East Street, Plainville, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; failure to drive in the proper lane; and possession of a controlled substance at 2:07 a.m. She was to appear in court Jan. 19.

Jan. 7

Eric Matthew McKeever, 26, of Old Turnpike Road, Southington, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane at 10:07 p.m. He will appear in court Jan. 22.

Jan. 8

Esquillin Hugo Mariera, 34, of Shuttle Meadow Avenue, New Britain, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia at 12:04 a.m. He will appear in court Jan. 22.

Daniel Cady, 29, of Blatchley Avenue, Southington, was charged with risk of injury to a child; disorderly conduct; and third-degree strangulation/suffocation at 11:55 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 9.

Jan. 9

Jeffery Warren Pete, 58, of Attawanot St., Windsor, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs at 6:15 p.m. He will appear in court Jan. 23.

Jan. 10

Joshua Soler, 27, no address given, was charged with two counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and two counts of second-degree larceny at 9:30 a.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 10.

Brandon David Huertas, 42, of Lewis Street, Bridgeport, was charged with interfering with a search at 10:48 a.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 10.
