Southington Police Meet And Greet: Officer James Valentine

SOUTHINGTON, CT — This week's Southington Police Department meet and greet highlights the service of Officer James Valentine.

Valentine is currently assigned to Southington High School as the school resource officer.

Valentine has 24 years of experience with the SPDS and has served as a field training officer, a member of honor guard, a car seat technician and an operator of the department's ATV.

"Throughout his career, Officer Valentine has emphasized his commitment to the town of Southington through his community work. Officer Valentine has participated in our Police Cadets Program, Stuff a Cruiser, Shop with a Cop, Tip a Cop, back to school drives and the Special Olympics Torch Run," the department said.
