Southington Police Ready With Extra Thanksgiving Patrols

The extra Click-it-or-Ticket Patrols are paid for with state and federal funding.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Department will be conducting extra patrols targeting seat belt violations and impaired driving around the Thanksgiving holiday.

The enforcement efforts are funded through state and federal highway safety grants.

Officers will be patrolling in marked and unmarked vehicles and will be issuing fines of $92 to anyone found in violation of the seat belt laws.

Click it or Ticket enforcement efforts will run from Nov. 20 through Nov. 27, police said.
