Southington Police Reminding Residents of Stop Sign Rules

More traffic comes and goes in town during the summer, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - With more traffic entering and exiting town in the summer, Southington police are reminding motorists of stop sign rules and etiquette.

Police said at a four-way intersection with stop signs, if two vehicles reach the intersection simultaneously, the vehicle on the left must yield the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right.

As seen in the attached graphic, B should yield to A, police said.
