Southington Police: Roving Traffic Patrols Set For Saturday Near Fireworks Venue

SOUTHINGTON, CT - OK, no shenanigans if you are driving around Lake Compounce on Saturday night around fireworks time.
Southington police are ready for anything.
Extra roving patrols are being set up around the park and lake area, police said.

"We just want to make sure everyone enjoys the fireworks in a safe and orderly manner," Sgt. Jeffrey Dobratz said.
A laxe show is set for 9 p.m. and fireworks are to follow at the park.
