Southington Resident Named Young Entrepreneur
Young Entrepreneurs Recognized by CT Entrepreneur Awards

Hartford, Conn. (April 25, 2018) - Southington resident Lucca Riccio and Danbury resident Hannah Pucci were recently honored by the CT Entrepreneur Awards tying for the Student Entrepreneur of the Year award and receiving honorable mentions in the Venture of the Year: Pre-Revenue category. Pucci was recognized for her invention “Egghead Ice Cream” (patent issued in 2016) while Riccio was recognized for his invention “Tube Talker” (patent pending). Both young entrepreneurs developed these inventions as students participating in the Connecticut Invention Convention, an award-winning nonprofit organization which provides invention education to students across the state. Riccio was also honored with the Community Favorite Venture: Pre-Revenue award. During the awards ceremony, which took place on Friday, April 20th, Connecticut Invention Convention also received an honorable mention in the Program of the Year category.
