Southington Schools: Are Solar Projects Fiscally Cloudy?

Officials are studying the impact.

The Record-Journal outlined the statistics so far in a report.

Panels at Plantsville and South End schools were installed in December 2015 and January 2016, respectively. Greenskies installed and maintains the panels, and the town has agreed to buy the power off them for 20 years.
