Southington Scouts Take On Storm Damage At Park

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington's Cub Scout Pack 72 recently took on the storm damage at Panthorn Park.

When the scouts began the project, the main (red) trail at the park was blocked. A mountain biker they met on the trail even had to turn around.

By the time the scouts were done, there was a path to navigate the trail end to end.

The scouts did caution hikers and bikers to be careful on the trails because of some hanging trees.
