Southington Seniors Ready To Cue Up And Shoot Some Stick
Southington Calendar House members can compete in the Tony Longo 8-Ball Tournament later this week.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local pool sharks are invited to the Southington Calendar House this week as it will host its fifth annual Tony Longo Centennial 8-Ball Tournament on Thursday, May 14.
The event is open to all Calendar House members and will feature a double-elimination tournament format.
Same-day registration will take place in the pool room from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., followed by a rules review and random draw for matches beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Under tournament rules, players in the winner’s bracket will compete in best-of-three racks to advance, while players in the loser’s bracket will play single-rack elimination matches.
Organizers said a backup date of Friday, May 15, has been scheduled if needed.

Pizza will be provided for lunch.
