Southington Summer Lunch Program Returns With School, Pantry Sites
Lunches for Southington children will be offered June 22 through mid-August at DePaolo Middle School and at Bread for Life.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington children will be able to get free summer lunches starting Monday, June 22, through the Southington Bread for Life 2026 Summer Lunch Program, according to the program announcement.
The program is presented by Bread for Life with support from Southington Public Schools and the South Central Health District.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, lunches and programming will be available at DePaolo Middle School, 385 Pleasant St., from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to the announcement.

Families are invited to “Grab your lunch and stay for some exciting programming from our local volunteers!”
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, grab-and-go lunches will be available for pickup at Bread for Life, 31 Vermont Ave., from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to the notice.

According to the announcement, the program begins June 22 and continues through Aug. 14, with an added service week of Aug. 17 through Aug. 21.
The announcement also includes a new Tuesday pickup option at Recreation Park, 25 Maxwell Noble Drive, at the baseball concession stand, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from June 23 through July 7.
The notice says the lunches are available for individual children in Southington.
It also states that “Group pick ups (camps, daycares, etc...) are not permitted.”
