Southington Superindendent Gets Passing Grades After Evaluation

Southington Superintendent of Schools Timothy Connellan received good grades on a recent review by the Board of Education.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington Superintendent of Schools Timothy Connellan received good grades on a recent review by the Board of Education.

The evaluation took place on Sept. 27 and is based on a time period from July 1, 2017 to the close of the 2017-18 school year.

He was evaluated on:
  • Board-superintendent relations
  • Community relations
  • Personnel relations
  • Educational programs
  • Business matters
  • Professional leadership
  • Personal qualities

The school board determined that, "Mr. Connellan met — or exceeded — expectations in all standards. "

Board members said they "recognize and value Mr. Connellan's leadership in all areas of his work."

School board chairman Brian Goralski added, "Mr. Connellan's leadership is weaving 21st Century skills and whole student learning into the fabric of our school community."
