Southington Teen Arrested on Theft-Related Charges

He was taken into custody on Sunday, according to police records.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local teen is facing a plethora of theft-related charges after his arrest on Sunday, according to a Southington police arrest log entry.

Nolan Sorber, 18, of Zwicks Farms Road in the Plantsville section of Southington, was taken onto custody at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to the log entry.

He was charged with:

  • Possession of alcohol by a minor.
  • Five counts of third-degree burglary.
  • Five counts of sixth-degree larceny.
  • Third-degree criminal trespass.
  • Interfering with officers.
  • Four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Five counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree Burglary
  • Five counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny
  • Conspiracy to commit third-degree criminal trespass
  • Four Counts of conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia.

The bond for Sorber was set at $25,000 and he was given a court date of Aug. 29, according to police records. A log entry did not elaborate on the alleged criminal activity.
