Southington Town Clerk's Office To Close Early

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington officials have announced an early closure for the Avon Town Clerk's office this week.

According to the town, the clerk's office will close at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.

Thursday is the day of the week Avon Town Offices are open later in the evening to give folks time to get any municipal business done.

Normally, town departments are open at 7 p.m., but this Thursday, the town clerk's office will close 90 minutes earlier than normal.

All other town departments, however, will be open until 7 p.m., as usual.
