Southington Town Offices, Schools Closed For Presidents Day

While town staff will have a three-day weekend, school staffers and pupils will have a four-day break.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Town employees will have a long weekend, like many municipalities, with a three-day break that includes a day off for Presidents Day Monday, Feb. 20.

School staffers and students, meanwhile, will have an extra long, four-day break this weekend.

Southington officials recently announced that Southington Town Hall and the John Weichsel Municipal Center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20, for Presidents Day.

Also closed in town Monday are the Calendar House Senior Center in Southington and the Southington Public Library.

Meanwhile, Southington schools break for their winter recess with Presidents Day Monday, Feb. 20, and the day after, Tuesday, Feb. 21, being days off.
