Southington Town, School Holiday Closings Announced
Normal town/school operations will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The upcoming Christmas and New Year's Day holiday season will affect operations at Southington town and school facilities.
The Town of Southington recently announce those impacts.
For the Southington Town Hall & John Weichsel Municipal Center buildings, the holiday hours are:

• Thursday, Dec. 21, open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 22, open from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

• Monday, Dec. 25, closed for Christmas Day.
• Thursday, Dec. 28, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 29, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
• Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, closed for New Year's Day.
Southington schools, meanwhile, will be closed for winter break from Monday, Dec. 25, to Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. There is an early dismissal on Friday, Dec. 22.
Regular school hours and town operations resume on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
