SOUTHINGTON TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Work on Local Highways Limits Travel
Here is this week's road work schedule from the CT Department of Transportation.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation has scheduled road work for several areas in town this week.
Here is where and when you can expect delays in Southington and Cheshire:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: (I-84 WB) and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: (I-84 EB), and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: (single lane and shoulders). Alternating double left and right lane closures on I-84 WB and EB between exits 25A and 31.

Thursday and Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Right lane closure on I-691 WB between exit 2 and merge on to I-84 WB in Southington.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: One-way alternating traffic on Rte. 322 in Southington.
