Southington Transfer Station Switching To Brush Only
The Southington Transfer Station will be accepting brush only for at least a week.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Transfer Station will be open for brush only for a seven-day period beginning this weekend amid coronavirus precautions.
Town officials made the call on Monday. The transfer station will be open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for brush only beginning Saturday, April 18 until Saturday, April 25. "Operations" will be "further evaluated by administration," after that, officials said.
The grace period to accept previous-year stickers has been extended through May, officials said.
