Southington Youth Summer Camp Registration Starts Saturday, March 1
Southington residents can sign up their children online starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local parents anxious about snagging town summer camps slot for their children should be at their computer on Saturday, March 1.
That's when the Southington Parks and Recreation Department will open registration for its 2025 summer "Playground Program," which is open to Southington resident children, ages 5-12.
The program provides a litany of fun, supervised summer activities in a safe environment when school is not in session.

When camp is open, the program takes place rain or shine, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at South End Elementary School and Recreation Park (Maxwell Noble Drive, Plantsville).
The program is comprised of three separate sessions and each child may be registered for a maximum of two out of the three sessions being offered.

Session 1 is June 23 to July 3; Session 2 is July 7-18; and session 3 is July 21 to Aug. 1.
The cost for each session is $160 per child and there are no sibling discounts available.
Financial aid (up to $160 max per child) may be available to those who qualify through Southington Community Services.
Parents requesting aid should make an appointment with the SCS office at 860-628-3761 to determine eligibility.
