Southington's Barnes Museum Seeks Interns

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Those looking for careers working in museums, whether young or old, might want to think about an internship at the Town of Southington's Barnes Museum.

The local history museum is looking for fall interns to volunteer their time and efforts at the museum, located at 85 N. Main St., from now until December.

Museum officials are still seeking folks who are looking to gain a bit of work experience in museums.

Barnes internship opportunities are especially desirable for those who love local art and history, officials said.

Interns will be able to work on special projects, assist with digitizing the collection, help develop programs and "so much more," the museum wrote on social media.
