WORCESTER, MA — Joseph DePaolo-Boisvert of Southington, a freshman defensive and and linebacker for the Worcester Polytechnic Institute football team, has been named to the Liberty League Football All-Academic Team.
The Engineers racked up 174 selections under seventh-year head coach Chris Robertson. During that time, WPI has boasted the most honorees five times, including 30 in 2012 and again in 2013. Overall, the Crimson and Gray have touted 209 during their tenure in the Liberty League.
Student-athletes with a full year in residence at their institution who carry a 3.3 cumulative grade point average into a season of competition qualify for the Liberty League All-Academic Teams.
