Southington's July 4 Impacts Announced

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The July 4 holiday's falling on a Tuesday this year has created an unusual situation regarding the holiday weekend.

Southington officials recently announced that all Southington Town Hall and Municipal Center offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday.

They will, however, be open Monday and Wednesday for regular business hours.

This also includes the Southington Public Library, which is closed July 4, and the Southington Calendar House Senior Center, which is also closed.
