Southington's 'Prom Shop' Seeks Donations For 2025
The town's community services department this week put the call out for community help in stocking the 2025 prom shop's shelves.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The new school year will start in Southington by month's end, but one town agency is already looking ahead to ... prom season.
Southington Community Services operates its annual "Prom Shop" and on Monday, it announced it is already seeking donations of used formal wear associated with proms.
The prom shop for 2024 was a wild success, as it gives anyone who wants free access to all the prom clothing and accessories they can use — items that can be quite costly for teens on a budget.
