Southington's Town Workers To Be Celebrated

Southington's town offices will close early on Thursday and Friday for the annual Employee Appreciation Day festivities.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local offices will close earlier than usual the next couple of days on Thursday, Sept. 14, and Friday, Sept. 15.

Both days are impacted for preparations for the town's big Employee Appreciation Day celebration on Friday.

Normally on Thursdays, town hall is open until 7 p.m., but this Thursday it will close at 4:30 p.m.

The next day, Friday, town hall will close at noon for the celebration, which will take place from noon to 4:30 p.m.

It annually honors all town employees for the work they put in for the community.

Offices will reopen on Monday, Sept. 18, to normal business hours.
