State Police Investigating Multi-Vehicle Crash In Southington

SOUTHINGTON — A motor vehicle accident closed a portion of Interstate-84 in Southington on Monday afternoon, state transportation officials said.

The crash involved miltiple vehicles and on I-84 Eastbound between Exits 31 and 32.

The right lane was closed.

The crash was first reported at 2:22 p.m. by state transportation officials. It was cleared 59 minutes later, state police said.

The cause is under iunvestigation.
