State Police Seek Help In Probing Serious Southington Accident
The crash happened on Interstate 84 late Friday morning.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — State police Monday said they're seeking the public's help as they probe a March 10 accident in Southington that seriously injured a Southington man.
According to a state police accident report released Monday, the accident involved a passenger vehicle slamming into the back of a tractor trailer truck on Interstate 84 in Southington late Friday morning.
Connecticut State Police said 2019 Kenworth tractor trailer being driven by a 52-year-old Laredo, Texas, man was traveling in the right lane of three on I-84 east in Southington.

Police said, at 11:13 a.m. Friday, a 2003 Acura RSX being driven by a 39-year-old Southington man plowed into the back of the tractor trailer whle traveling in the same lane.
According to the report, both vehicles ended up stopped in the right lane, with both vehicle towed from the scene due to "disabling damage."

Police said the driver of the truck was uninjured and declined medical treatment while the Southington man driving the Acura was taken to Hartford Hospital with reported "serious injuries."
