State Rep. Has Coffee With Constituents In Southington
State Rep. Francis Cooley, who serves Southington, Farmington and Plainville, was at a Southington bagel shop to meet constituents.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local lawmaker serving three towns enjoyed his morning Tuesday having coffee with his constituents to discuss legislative matters.
State Rep. Francis Cooley, R-Plainville, sat down with folks from his 22nd House District towns of Plainville, Southington and Farmington.
The event was at Fancy Bagels on Queen Street in Southington.

"I want to thank everyone that attended this morning. It's great to sit down and talk state issues with interested residents in the Southington community," said Cooley.
The representative was in Southington Tuesday to discuss a wide variety of issues with those he serves and he attempted to answer any questions they may have had.

He said constituents discussed everything from state taxes, the new baby bonds law, tolls, the mileage tax and construction projects in and around the region.
