Stock Up For Spring At Southington High Plant Sale

The Southington High agriculture program is hosting its annual plant sale this week to benefit its scholarship program.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The first week of May is a big month for gardeners, who are stocking up on plants and bushes for the spring planting season.

One way to stock up is to visit the Southington High School Agriculture Science & Technology Program's greenhouse through Friday, May 5, and help out local agricultural students.

The 2023 Spring Plant Sale started Monday and continues all week through Friday.

Plants can be purchased from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Plant sale proceeds benefit the SHS FFA chapter, with proceeds helping that organization's scholarship program.
