Stop & Shop Flowers To Help Feed Needy Southington Residents
The local supermarket will donate $1 per bouquet sold in April to Southington Bread for Life through its 'Bloomin' 4 Good' program.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington residents can support a local anti-hunger organization this April through a grocery store flower program.
Bread for Life has been selected by leadership at Stop & Shop’s Southington location, 505 N. Main St., to receive a $1 donation for every specially marked $11.99 “Bloomin’ 4 Good” bouquet sold during the month, according to an announcement from the nonprofit.
The initiative is part of the Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, launched in February 2021, which directs proceeds from select floral purchases to local nonprofit organizations.
