Stop & Shop To Host Southington Donation Drive
Help sought for Sept. 1, Sept. 11 events to benefit Southington Community Services and a local soup kitchen.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The local Stop & Shop store in Southington is where the community can provide a helping hand to two local causes in September.
A donation drive will take place Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Stop & Shop on North Main Street.
There, donations will benefit Southington Community Services and Southington's Bread for Life Soup Kitchen's "Family Feeding Program."

A second donation event is slated for Sunday, Sept. 11, at the North Main Street Stop & Shop store in Southington for both groups.
Sponsoring the event is the League of Women Voters' Southington chapter.
