Strategies may improve living with spinal stenosis

WEST HARTFORD – Living with spinal stenosis can often be painful and limiting. The free program, Living with Spinal Stenosis, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m., at Elmwood Senior Center, 1106 New Britain Ave. Topics will feature an overview of the disease process, including causes and diagnosis, for the person with spinal stenosis. Exercises and maintaining physical health and well-being will be emphasized so that participants may feel more control over their daily tasks and responsibilities. Facilitator will be David Santoro, MBA, OTR/L. This event is sponsored by Hartford HealthCare Senior Services.
