Target Shoplifter Identified In Southington: Police: UPDATE

The SPD said Tuesday it has identified a male shoplifting suspect believed to have stolen about $1,100 in items April 15 at a local Target.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police were looking for a man who is believed to have shoplifted about $1,100 in merchandise from Southington's Target store last week.

But police Tuesday, April 23, said they have identified the man and they're seeking an arrest warrant against him.

The Southington Police Department last week released surveillance images taken Monday, April 15, of the man they believe was a suspect in the crime.

Police said he "has a distinct tattoo on his right hand where the thumb meets the hand" and he is believed to have shoplifted from the Target at 600 Executive Blvd., Southington, at about 9:15 p.m.
