Teen Girl From Southington Missing Since Friday: Police

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police are looking for a missing 17-year-old Southington girl reported missing Monday afternoon, according to a Silver Alert.

According to the alert, issued at 2:24 p.m., Southington police are looking for Kayla Sims, 17, who is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said she stands 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs 179 pounds.

There is no clothing description available, but police believe Sims — who has been missing since Friday — may be in a red Ford Mustang car.
