Thursday's Statewide Scholastic Sports Scoreboard

Brutal heat and humidity wreaked havoc on the opening day schedule for high school sports throughout Connecticut Thursday, with many games being postponed due to early dismissal or outright cancellation of classes. Nevertheless, here are results from the 14 games contested involving schools from Patch towns, as reported to the CIAC.
