Time for a healthy brain check-up

As we age, keeping a healthy brain is vital. Free program Aug. 16, Elmwood Senior Center. Center for Healthy Aging sponsors. 860.561.8180.

WEST HARTFORD – Keeping the brain healthy and memory strong are concerns as people grow older and may become forgetful. A free program about the importance of memory screening and strategies to keeping the brain healthy will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, 10:30-11:30 a.m., at Elmwood Senior Center, 1106 New Britain Ave. Presenter will be Amina Weiland, CDP, CDCP, certified dementia practitioner, resource coordinator, Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, program sponsor.
