Tobacco Cessation program provides vital information about smoking

NEW BRITAIN – Many people find it difficult to stop smoking even though they know it can cause a multitude of health problems or lead to death. Tobacco Cessation on Thursday, Nov. 9 will cover topics including the effects of tobacco and ways of quitting. This free Lunch & Learn will be held noon to 1 p.m., at Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain campus, 100 Grand St. Presenter is Geralyn Laut, BS, MA, TT, tobacco cessation counselor. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring the program.
