Tom Coughlin To Be Honored At Franciscan Event At Aqua Turf
He is being recognized for his work with the Jay Fund.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - Former New York Football Giants head coach Tom Coughlin will receive the St. Francis Award at the Franciscan Life Center's 31st sports banquet June 7 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, the Hartford Courant reported.
It is for his work with the Jay Fund.
This year's Franciscan event is scheduled for 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and benefits the Franciscan Life Center, founded in Meriden in 1974, and its Homecare and Hospice Center.

Coughlin created the Jay Fund in 1996 to honor of Jay McGillis, who played for him at Boston College and died of leukemia.
