Tree Falls On Highway Ramp In Southington
A tree fell on a highway ramp in Southington Monday.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A big tree fell in high winds and landed on a busy highway ramp, state transit authorities said.
The incident took place at 12:20 p.m., according to a DOT alert. The tree landed on the Exit 30 (Marion Avenue) westbound off-ramp and it had to be closed, DOT officials said.
State and local police were at both ends of the scene along with a tree crew.
