Two Roads in Southington Set for Resurfacing Next Week

Paving work on two roads should begin on Monday.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Town of Southington Department of Public Works has announced it will begin asphalt reclaiming, grading, and paving operations on two roads Monday, weather-permitting.

The roads are Mulberry Street and Spring Lake Road and the work will continue for about three weeks, DPW officials said.

DPW officials are requesting that no vehicles be parked on the two roads while crews are working. Scheduled working hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Police are urging motorists to find alternate routes when possible to avoid delays and to keep work crews safe.
