Understanding the complexities of medication safety

Taking medication – whether over-the-counter or prescribed – can be complex and confusing. The free program, “Medication Safety,” will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1:30 p.m., at Southington Library, 255 Main St. Pharmacist Christina Pornprasert, Pharm.D., will cover a variety of topics to ensure individuals can understand their medications and safely get the most benefit. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring this event.
