Understanding how the aging process affects the eye and vision

As people age, it is not uncommon for vision problems to arise or worsen. Dr. Ronald Bezahler, ophthalmologist, will lead “The Aging Eye” on Thursday, May 12, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., at Calendar House, 388 Pleasant St. Bezahler will provide information about how the eye physically changes and explain various age-related eye ailments including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring this free program.
