Understanding senior dental issues and underlying health problems

Hartford HealthCare, senior services, dental issues, Berlin Senior Center, dental hygiene

BERLIN – Older adults often face new dental issues, however, sometimes this may actually indicate there are underlying health concerns. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring a free program on this topic on Wednesday, March 9, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive. Speakers are Dr. Mary Kate Conboy, resident in the Hartford Hospital Dental Residency Program and Gail Swanson, registered dental hygienist at the Hartford Hospital Dental Clinic.
Registration is required. To RSVP, please call Tina Doyle at the senior center, at 860.828.7006.
